Chequamegon Theatre Association presents "The Elephant Man," based on the true story of John Merrick, who is afflicted with badly disfiguring bone and skin diseases. Dr. Fredrick Treves takes him into his care, and John Merrick transforms into a respected member of elite society. The event takes place at the Rinehart Theatre. Tickets can be purchased at Mainland Men's and Women's Clothing, 311 W. Main St., Ashland, Wisconsin.
