The 3.1-mile race begins at 9 a.m. at Fitger’s, 600 E. Superior St., and travels along the streets of downtown Duluth and Canal Park before finishing back at Fitger’s. It’s a great event for runners and walkers to start their spring training. All net proceeds benefit the Young Athletes Foundation. An awards ceremony follows the race at 10:30 a.m. All finishers receive a T-shirt, and trophies will be awarded to the top competitors in each age category for both the run and walk.
