The Backroads Banderdinker is open to kayaks, canoes or standup paddleboards to paddle around Big Island of Nelson Lake near Hayward, Wisconsin. Participants can pick from two divisions: Dinker Division, a non-competitive 8K paddle around the Big Island of Nelson Lake, and the Dash the Dinker Division, a longer 7 mile option for the experienced paddler. A charity event with proceeds going to Boy Scouts Troop 70, Hayward Community Food Shelf and The Northwoods Strings.
