Carlton County Historical Society Hosts 66th Annual Meeting

Carlton County Historical Society invites everyone to attend its 65th annual meeting and program at the Cloquet Forestry Center, 175 University Rd. in Cloquet, Saturday, April 18, at 1 p.m. Meet in the Cloquet Forestry Center's dining room for coffee, punch and treats, where a silent auction and raffle tables will be set up. After a brief business meeting to introduce board members and elect new ones, Rachael Olesiak, the Cloquet Forestry Center's research plot coordinator, will present a slide program on the history and activities of the center. Rachael grew up on the western corner of the Cloquet Forestry Center on Otter Creek and has worked at the center since 2003. After the program, refreshments will continue to be served and the winners of the silent auction and raffle will be announced. This event is free and open to the public.
