Scandinavian Dinner and Davidson Windmill Tours

Celebrate summer with a Scandinavian dinner and tours of the Davidson Windmill and Eskolin Log House east of the city of Superior on Wisconsin Highway 13. The tours will run  from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, June 22, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 23. The dinner will be Saturday, June 23, at Lakeside Town Hall, at Highway 13 and Popular River Road, which is 8.8 miles from the junction of Highways 2&53. A free will donation is requested for the tours. The events are sponsored by the Old-Brule Heritage Society, with proceeds used for preservation of the windmill and house site, and for archiving of rural Douglas County history.
