The Cable-Hayward Area Arts Council (CHARAC) brings art to the main streets of Cable. This is an exciting event each summer for artists to show their art to thousands of visitors and residents in our area. The artwork of 24 juried artists is reproduced in full color on a 60" tall by 30" wide banner which will hang on a lamppost on one of the main streets in Cable. These will hang in Cable from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 2014.

Also, the artists’ original artwork will be displayed at local businesses throughout the summer. Both the original artwork and the banners themselves will be sold on the CHARAC website at the end of the summer. There is an opening reception in late May and a closing party/auction in late August.
