International Bridge Walk

The 26th annual International Bridge Walk is sponsored by the International Bridge Authority and the Chamber of Commerce from Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. And this year marks the 50th anniversary of the International Bridge that connects the two cities. Walkers will gather at 9 a.m. at the Norris Center on the campus of Lake Superior State University. The walk then gets under way at 10 a.m., and there will be a bike ride that starts at 9 a.m. The event is free. Walkers need a passport or other approved identification. For a $2 fee, transportation is available to bring walkers from Ontario to the starting point or, afterward, return those with vehicles waiting at the Norris Center, Lake Superior State University.
