Lake Superior Family FunFest will be Saturday and Sunday, February 25 and 26, at the Duluth Enterrtainment Convention Center. It offers interactive displays on everything from music to recreation, education and caricature drawings. In addition to Nickelodeon and Viacom popular characters Dora the Explorer and Diego, Kelvin Saline’s Magic Village will appear throughout the weekend. FunFest also will feature an indoor “box maze” from the Engwalls Corn Maze, presentations from the Duluth Police and Fire Departments and an entire carnival midway, all inside the DECC. The carnival will feature all the normal rides and games usually experienced in the summer at the county fair. Admission is $6 at the door; $1 coupons will be available from exhibitors and sponsors around the area. Carnival rides are additional. FunFest hours are Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The carnival remains open one additional hour each day.
