SIDE SHOW, by Bill Russell (books and lyrics) and Henry Krieger (music) is based on the true story of conjoined “Siamese” twins, Daisy and Violet Hilton, who became stars during the Depression, SIDE SHOW is a moving portrait of two women joined at the hip whose extraordinary circumstance brings them fame but denies them love. The show follows their progression from the “freak show” to the vaudeville circuit and then to Hollywood on the eve of their appearance in the 1932 movie Freaks.
Audiences will be immersed in the world of the Midway upon entering the expansive lobby at Harbor City with the sights, smells, and sounds of a carnival. Specialty food items and theme drinks will be catered by Black Woods Catering, served pre-show and at intermission.
SIDE SHOW tickets are $25. Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm.
