St. Louis River Alliance Vista Star Boat Tour of the Estuary will be Sept. 10, running from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. The tour will highlight cleanup and restoration projects in the estuary, such as Pier B, Interstate Island and 21st W, and the Grassy Point/Kingsbury Creek. Experts will be on board to discuss details of the projects. The winners of the Middle School Science Fair will be special guests as well. This free event is open to the public. Board the Vista Star at 3:15 p.m., at 323 Harbor Drive in Duluth (on the waterfront, next to the DECC). Those interested should RSVP to kris@stlouisriver.org.
