Lake Superior Magazine Receives
Lifetime Achievement Award
The owners of Lake Superior Magazine
- James R. Marshall, Cindy Marshall Hayden and Paul Hayden – received a
Lifetime Achievement Award in the prestigious Joel Labovitz
Entrepreneurial Success Awards in Duluth, Minnesota, on Wednesday, May
17.

One Lifetime Achievement Award is given annually to a
business operating in northeastern Minnesota that “has a record of
accomplishments over no less than a 25-year career that has had a
significant impact on the community or region.
During the annual awards ceremony, other
businesses from new small (fewer than 5 employees) to older larger
enterprises received recognition. The awards are organized through the
University of Minnesota Duluth’s Center for Economic Development.
In the announcement of the award to Lake Superior Magazine,
Dale Lewis, president of Park State Bank, recognized the “undeniable
passion for promoting and preserving Lake Superior” that drives
Chairman Jim Marshall, Publisher Cindy Hayden and Associate Publisher
Paul Hayden.
