Make Your Picks for Best Wisconsin Towns
Most Scenic Beauty. Best on a Lake. Best Snowmobiling Getaway.
These are among 21 categories for choosing the Best
Towns of Wisconsin. Anyone with Internet access can nominate their
favorite towns with less than 15,000 population.
Other categories include: Best Festival Weekend, Best Dining, Best Biking Getaway, Most Romantic and Best Downhill Skiing.
Nominations can be made through February 15 on the website www.wondersofwisconsin.com.
The competition is open to communities on the free
Official Wisconsin Highway Map, published by the Association of
Wisconsin Tourism Attractions.
A committee of travel writers will narrow the list of
nominees down to top choices. The final list of nominees will be
published at www.wondersofwisconsin.com and in the February 28th issue
of Milwaukee Shepherd Express newspaper.
Final online voting will continue from February 28
through April 24th. The picks will be tallied and announced early in
May as part of Wisconsin and National Tourism Week.
