Konnie LeMay
Editor
Konnie LeMay, editor, returned in 1995 to
her home ports of Duluth, Minnesota, and Superior, Wisconsin, and
became news editor of the Daily Telegram in Superior. LeMay
also developed her own design and writing business, KonTexts, preceded
by her work as managing editor at the national Native American
newspaper Indian Country Today, then published in Rapid City,
South Dakota. A 1980 graduate from the University of Minnesota School
of Journalism, Konnie earned a one-year stint with three regional
newspapers in France through a Rotary International Journalism
Scholarship and has also worked on daily newspapers in Grand Forks,
N.D., and Bemidji, Minn. She has done freelance work for a few national
publications and international wire services. Among her diverse
experiences are as a Friend in Residence at the Quaker Meetinghouse in
St. Paul and as an au pair helper in the south of France.
