Featured photographer Stephen Gassman says that water has drawn him as
long as he can remember and that it often mirrors the feelings he tries
to capture in his pictures.
"Screaming beauty is easy to see - the grand mountain scape, the picturesque
lighthouse, the waves crashing on a shoreline. Whispering beauty is more
subtle and requires you to pay closer heed - dew glistening on a leaf,
the moon reflecting in a tidal pool, gulls flying through morning fog.
Lake Superior is abundant in both screaming and whispering beauty."
