For the judges of our Fifth Annual Lake Superior Magazine Photo Contest it was again a mixed blessing. It was a difficult task to sort through and select the very best from the more than excellent 1,000 images entered by 160 photographers. Once again, the overall quality was superb. Some shots show lake visions we often see (and try to make ourselves), others reveal a way of seeing that's different. All show the depth and breadth of Lake Superior's influence on its people and country. |
