Simple Marinade for Chicken Kabobs by Steve Branstrom
3 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut in 1-inch cubes
8 oz. Italian dressing
1/2 can 7-up
1/2 can beer (the other half is for the cook)
2 Tbsp. black pepper

Marinate for at least 2 hours, turning every 1/2 hour. Soak bamboo skewers in water for at least an hour to prevent splinters and burning, then build kabobs with marinated chicken and choice of veggies (peppers, onions, cherry tomatoes and mushrooms, as examples) cut into 1-inch chunks.
