Microplastics: Pollutants in a Small Package

Plastic pollutants, like microbeads and nurdles that sometimes end up in Lake Superior, soak up any toxins in the water, such as PCBs and dioxin. If wild critters ingest the plastics, the toxins can enter the food chain. more
