Lake Superior Magazine has been chosen to be the GLIN site of the month for December!
The Great Lakes Information Network (www.glin.net) is an 18-year-old initiative of the Great Lakes Commission, a nonpartisan compact agency based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, that is mandated to represent the views of the eight Great Lakes’ states.
GLIN, as the network is known, is an informative website organized basically by ecosystems and topics, breaking into pages for each of the Great Lakes and into sections for Education, Tourism, Economics, Environment as well as maps and GIS information.
Besides being a significant first-step resource for all kinds of questions about or issues pertaining to the Great Lakes, GLIN acts as a daily “clipping” service linking to news stories from broadcast, print and web sources nationally and globally. It’s developed useful and informative partnerships around the Great Lakes.
