"Cabaret on Bay"

"Cabaret on Bay" is a fundraiser for Bay Street Film Festival, which has been the premier event for filmmakers from northwestern Ontario and around the world for nine years. The evening will feature vintage-inspired local talent and a silent auction. Danny Johnson and The World's Least Dangerous Band brings Thunder Bay’s finest musicians together. The fabulous Gypsy Rhinestones from the World Dance Centre and the delectable Beatrix Muse will offer scintillating burlesque. Short films are also part of the program. The event will be at the Finnish Labour Temple, 314 Bay Street, with doors open at 8 p.m., and the show at 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. Tickets are $20, for ages 19 and older, and are available at Calico Coffee House, Scandinavian Deli and High Tide Tattoo Parlour.
