The production kicks off with a fundraiser for History Theater March 19 at 6:30 p.m. with a VIP preview night and reception that includes wine and hors d’oeuvres. Having written several plays for the Myers-Wilkins Community School Collaborative and known for her popular play, "Ole And Lena," this is her first involvement with the History Theatre. Created in 2010, the Douglas County History Society History Theatre produces original and published plays that identify and explore ideals, beliefs, issues and events of history, both local and national. The annual “Winter Classics,” in its second season, provides the community with important and loved classics in literature. 715-392-8449. douglashistory.org
