The St. Louis County Historical Society will host a dinner program, Italian American History and Heritage in Duluth and St. Louis County, Thursday, October 11, at the St. Louis County Heritage & Arts Center (the Depot). The social hour and dinner will be followed by a presentation on Italian American history in Duluth, "Little Italy Big Influence," by District Court Judge John DeSanto, who is assisted by local historian and author Tony Dierckins. I'Cantatori ("The Singers"), a range-based men¹s singing group, will provide entertainment. The program is co-sponsored by the Italian American Club of Duluth and will include a five-course meal, wine tasting and a cash bar. Proceeds from a silent auction will help support the Italian American Club's efforts to preserve Italian heritage in Duluth. The cost is $35 and includes a free pass to the Depot for a future visit.
