Attend the city of Hancock's first official 2013 sesquicentennial event, a panel discussion titled "Outdoor Hockey in Hancock, an Oral History," Saturday, January 12, at 10 a.m. at the Wiitanen Room in Houghton County Arena. Hear stories and histories of Terrace Park, Hillside and Laurn-Grove ice rinks, including the 1963-64 Laurn-Grove Juvenile National Championship Hockey Team. The event is free to the public.
