A Free Screening of HBO's "The Pacific"

Veterans’ Memorial Hall at the Depot in Duluth is offering a free showing of HBO’s miniseries, "The Pacific," the follow-up to "Band of Brothers." This showing is the kickoff for an upcoming exhibit, "Never Forgotten," which will feature Henry A. Courtney, a local Medal of Honor recipient who served in the Pacific Theater during World War II. The miniseries will be shown May 1-3, and May 6, and 7, over five nights in the historic Zelda Theater, in the Lake Superior Railroad Museum. Each night, the program will begin at 6 p.m., with light snacks and soft drinks available. Each night, two episodes of the miniseries will be shown. On the final day, the show will be last part of the "Never Forgotten" exhibit opening and will begin at 7 p.m. For more information on the miniseries, visit www.hbo.com/#/the-pacific.
