ChiliBay silent auction fundraiser

ChiliBay is a fundraiser for the Lake Superior College Student Essentials Fund. The third annual ChiliBay silent auction will be in the main concourse 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. On Thursday, April 5, at 1 p.m., auction winners will be announced and there will be free chili feed for winning bidders in the Commons area. It will feature pottery, gift certificates, autographed photos from the Minnesota Vikings and Twins. The Lake Superior College Student Senate created the Student Essentials Fund in 2008 to provide modest financial assistance when an unexpected or unavoidable financial situation gets in the way of school. If a student hits a temporary financial bump in the road, he or she can fill out a form explaining the situation.
