7th Annual More Cowbell

7^th Annual More Cowbell event, a Northern Lights Foundation fundraiser, will once again be rockin’ The Sports Garden January 14. The  Lake City Smokin’ Section is the band that sets the stage for the contestants to give their best performance with cowbell in hand. This annual event is a local favorite and it’s for a great cause. All funds are donated to the Northern Lights Foundation, supporting families who have children facing life-threatening illnesses. This year's contestants include Ron Tinsley, Duluth Police Department public information officer; Anna Tanski, executive director, Visit Duluth; and the FOX 21 News Morning Crew, to name a few. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance at www.northernlightsfoundation.org, or $25 at the door at The Sports Garden.
