A Celebration of the Arts
to
North Shore Community School 5926 Ryan Rd., Duluth, Minnesota 55804
North Shore Community School is hosting an inspiring celebration of arts, community and environment, May 10, from 8:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.
It’s an event that is meant to introduce our students to the many talents of local artists. Students observe skills through artist demonstration and presentation. Students also participate in hands-on art related activities, such as painting with watercolor, sculpting with clay or making an instrument.
Some of our area’s finest will be joining us, such as glass artist Ron Benson, best known for his windows at the Whole Foods Coop. Also expected is ceramicist Lenore Lampi, who frequently exhibits and sells her work at the Park Point and Glensheen art fairs, as well as in galleries in downtown Duluth. Participating artists will display work in media, such as clay, fiber, glass, painting and photography.
