All Souls Night 2013

Everyone is invited, living or dead, to All Souls Night 2013 on Saturday, Nov. 2, in two locations: 6-8 p.m. at the Depot, 506 W. Michigan St.,  and 8-10 p.m. at Sacred Heart Music Center, 210 W. 4th St. Wearing black and skeleton motifs are greatly encouraged. The schedule at the Depot includes artful displays honoring departed loved ones and face decorating by Pineapple Arts and friends; the haunting music of Duluth cellist Kathy McTavish with guitarist Richie Townsend; performance by Ladyslipper Dance; the "Funeral March for Rotten Ideas" procession around the Library; and spiral dance, drumming, and transformational "Burning of Rotten Ideas"; and fire dancing by the Spin Collective.
