According to Wayne LaPierre of the NRA, “the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.” But what is a good guy? How do we know? And how do good guys imagine the bad guys that they’re armed against?
Northland College Assistant Professor of Sociology and Social Justice Angela Stroud will present findings from her research on concealed carry in Texas at The Spot in Ashland Thursday, March 12 at 7 p.m. The event is part of The Spot Cocktails & Culture Series and is free and open to the public.
