Art Reception at Two Loons Gallery and Boutique

On Thursday February 15, between 6 and 8:30 p.m., Two Loons Gallery and Boutique at 2025 W. Superior in Duluth will host a reception showcasing the work of three of our local artists.

Anna Chance is a Minnesota painter and dancer. She draws inspiration for her silk pieces from nature and natural patterns. Anna invites you to come participate in the creation of a very special Duluth scarf and learn about the process of Silk Painting at Two Loons Gallery and Boutique.

Royal Alworth III is a Metalworker and Ship Builder by trade whose love for the Duluth area leads him to create wonderfully precise art and furnishings that feature the strength and versatility of the native ore with the natural beauty of the North Shore. Come see examples of Royals fine work and let him explain the processes and finishes he employs to produce his popular hand-crafted work.

Diane Maher works wonders with yarn. This Duluth native has been highly acclaimed for her work at knitting and felting work here at Two Loons. Diane will discuss and demonstrate the processes used to produce her wearable art and show examples of her work.

Two Loons Gallery and Boutique features Art, Gift, and Design elements hosting more than 50 local artists and crafters at its location in the Lincoln Park Craft District. This event is the second of an ongoing series to support local art. Come enjoy some beverages and light refreshments and check out the work of these wonderful artists.
