Boo at the Zoo is a much-loved Halloween event and Lake Superior Zoological Society’s largest fundraising event. Costumes are highly recommended. Check out the haunted hayrides, costume contests, food, pumpkin patch  and see unusual reptiles, creepy insects and other creatures. For more information, call 218-730-4500, or go to www.lszoo.org. The event at Lake Superior Zoo runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
