Carlton County Historical Society Birthday Party

The Carlton County Historical Society welcomes the Minnesota Historical Society's Manager of Local History Services, David Grabitske, to present a program for its 67th Annual Meeting at the Cloquet VFW at 201 Arch Street in Cloquet on Saturday, April 9, at 1 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Grabitske will present a Power Point program called "100 Years of Growing History Together," which explains how the state of Minnesota developed history services for county historical societies and museums like the Carlton County Historical Society.

The activities begin with a short business meeting and revue of the museum's 2015 activities, followed by Grabitske's program. A silent auction and book sale will take place, and refreshments will be available throughout the event.
