Christmas Bird Count

Volunteers are needed to assist the National Audubon Society in an annual winter bird census. Participants record and count birds and bird species within 15-mile diameter circles in the Cable and Hayward area from dawn to dusk. Bird feeders within the circles are also surveyed, so feeder counters are also needed.
