Color Dash 5k

The Miller-Dwan Foundation is bringing the world’s brightest 5k to the Twin Ports on Sunday, August 11 at Barker’s Island in Superior. The Color Dash 5k is an untimed, family-friendly run/walk that will raise money for Amberwing.

Participants will experience a colorful fun mess: Color Dashers will start in white T-shirts and get pelted with color explosions as they pass through five different color zones along the Osaugie Trail. At the finish, everyone will be covered in a hurricane of colors. With no winners or official times, the Color Dash is perfect for anyone: kids to seniors, first-time runners to professional athletes. Post-race activities will include additional color explosions, music, food and more fun activities for participants and spectators.

Proceeds from the Color Dash 5k will benefit Amberwing – Center for Youth & Family Well-Being. Amberwing is an outpatient wellness center in Duluth that provides mental health and chemical dependency treatment and ongoing support to children and young adults from birth through age 25.
