Create a Leopold bench from treated lumber. Students may bring a helper to work on their bench with them.
Aldo Leopold was an internationally recognized figure in wildlife conservation and a pioneering author and philosopher on environmental ethics and land stewardship. The style of bench that is named after him, is aesthetically pleasing and calls people to sit and reflect.
Students age 14 and older are welcome. No woodworking skills are necessary. Bring a lunch if you want.
A minimum of 4 students need to be registered by Saturday, May 27 in order to hold the class. Maximum of 4 students. To register for this class, go to https://porkies.org/event/create-an-aldo-leopold-bench-with-dave-rasmussen/
