Creative Community Series: Dimensional Beaded Ring with Diane Kribs-Mays
to
City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center 217 Front Street, Marquette, Michigan 49855
In this two-part workshop, using peyote stitch, students will make a dimensional glass bead ring. Peyote stitch is the most popular bead stitch because it creates finely stitched beadwork that feels and acts like fabric. In order to create the fabric feel, you will be working with very small beads. If needed, bring magnifying glasses or light with magnifier and extension cord.
The registration fee includes all needed supplies - so just bring a spirit of excitement and extra light or magnification if needed and enjoy creating a piece of wearable art!
Registration fee - $35
