The Lake Superior College Auto Club will hold its annual Dennis Godfrey Memorial Car Show. This event will take place in the lower west parking lot of the college¹s Trinity Road campus and in the Automotive Program area.
This year¹s show features a Dirt Track Late Model Simulator. Aspiring Mario Andrettis can take the wheel of a full-size racecar and through the magic of computer technology and a linked hydraulic system, feel like you're driving in an actual race.
Activities include a car corral, swap meet, door prizes, music and auto service and auto body demonstrations. Trophies will be awarded in 20 different classes.
The car show is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the LSC Alumni Association and KOOL 101.7. Swap meet and car corral spots are available for $5. Vehicle registration is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and trophies will be presented at 3:45 p.m. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
