The Duluth Superior Film Festival runs May 28 to June 1 with films, live music and special events. All films have free admission. Opening night features " Expedition to the End of the World," Wednesday, May 28, at 7:30 p.m. at Clyde Iron Works. Festival events will be offered at several venues, including Zinema 2, Teatro Zuccone, The PROVE Gallery, Tycoons Alehouse, Clyde Iron Works and Glensheen Historic Congdon Estate. At the opening night screening, Duluth's The Crunchy Bunch will perform at reception afterward in the Clyde Iron mezzanine with complimentary appetizers provided by Clyde Iron Works and free beer provided by Lake Superior Brewing. Film and TV star Patty Duke will be in Duluth for the entire festival, including the screening of the 1972 film "You'll Like My Mother," in which she starred, on Sunday, June 1, at Glensheen. Also, a private reception with Patty Duke will be Friday, May 30, at the Sheraton Hotel Duluth, from 5-7 p.m., at a cost of $50 per person, with complimentary appetizers and beverages available. Many films will have directors, producers, actors and film subjects in attendance. The festival headquarters is the Zeitgeist atrium, 222 E.
