2013 Dylan Days

Dylan Days celebrates the work of Bob Dylan and the arts and culture of his Iron Range hometown of Hibbing. All events are within walking distance in downtown Hibbing. The schedule on Friday, May 24, includes a creative writing workshop with Duluth Poet Laureate Sheila Packa, 1 to 3 p.m.; the Dylan Days Literary Showcase, 3 to 5 p.m.; and Zimmy's Singer/Songwriters Contest, 7 p.m. to midnight. On Saturday, May 25, the Dylan Days Bus Tour runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Zimmy's Second Singer/Songwriters Contest is from 5 to 7 p.m.; Mark Rubin, songwriter from Duluth performs from 7 to 9 p.m.; and The Adjustments from Duluth perform from 9 p.m. to close. On Sunday, May 26, there's a farewell breakfast buffet, 10 a.m. to noon. Dylan Days locations include Zimmy's and Hibbing Memorial Building.
