Early Spring at Moose Mountain SNA Duluth

Spring is upon us and lots of things are beginning to happen in the forests of the North. Moose Mountain SNA is a great place to brush up on many different species of trees, and how to identify them when there are no leaves. Buds, bark, silhouettes, habitats and more will help us puzzle out the tree species here. See how many species we can identify in an afternoon, and don’t forget to bring your binoculars so we can enjoy the birds of early spring as well (much easier to see when there are no leaves!).
