Ely Greenstone Public Art Annual Art Show & Sale

More than 25 artists working in a variety of media will show their work at the Ely Greenstone Public Art Annual Art Show & Sale, July 9-16. The show kicks off with a Gala evening Saturday, July 9, at Miners Dry House in the Pioneer Mine, known as the Ely Arts & Heritage Center, from 7 to 9 p.m. Although there is a fee for the Gala, the remainder of the show is free. Everyone gets to vote for People’s Choice Award. During the Gala, wine and beer will complement the food samples. Door prizes will be awarded. Viewers can rub elbows with area artists and enjoy live music. The cost is $30 per person. Tickets are available in advance at the Ely Echo by calling 218-235-1721 or may be purchased at the door. The show is open to the public free of charge from July 10 to 16, from 1 to 4 p.m. daily. During the week, visitors vote for People’s Choice.
