Fairlawn's Garden Talks: Growing Orchids - It Isn't as Hard as You Think

There are so many kinds of orchids – tropical varieties for indoor growing in cold climates, and hardy orchids that one can grow even in Northern Wisconsin. Robert will show examples of many of these beautiful plants, and will cover the basics of growing orchids successfully. He has registered more than 200 new orchid hybrids, and has written many articles for orchid magazines, along with co-authoring a publication about two Phragmipedium species. This presentation will be helpful if you’ve never owned an orchid, or if you’ve grown some but want to learn more.
