Wellness Open House

On Saturday, February 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the wellness-centered small businesses at the Finlandia University Jutila Center, Hancock, will host an open house. Healthy, delicious snacks will be available from local chefs at 5th and Elm Coffee House, Kangas Café and Catering, Keweenaw Co-op Natural Foods Market & Deli, Portage Health, and Rodeo Mexican Kitchen.

Throughout the four-hour open house, drop-in Zumba dance and tai chi classes will be held. Wellness screenings and demonstrations will be offered by Finlandia University nursing, physical therapist assistant, and certified medical assistant students.

Open house activities will take place in both the main Jutila Center building and the adjacent Jutila Center Annex. The Jutila Center is located at 200 Michigan Street, Hancock. The Jutila Center Annex is adjacent to the main building at 920 Water Street.
