The Lake Superior Youth Chorus (LSYC) presents a collaborative concert with North Shore singer-songwriter Michael Monroe. In addition to performing his own folk repertoire, Monroe will sing folk favorites with LSYC’s Concert Choir and Choristers ensembles.
Monroe’s award-winning music and compelling energy bring a powerful style that is as much fun as it is innovative, music and technology working together powered by creativity, and he recycles his music on stage with his "live" layering/looping technique. His Seaton guitars are made on the Gunflint Trail with 200-year-old reclaimed wood from the bottom of Lake Superior.
