Fort William Historical Park presents Fort Fest, one of the biggest summer concerts in northern Ontario, as well as a multicultural celebration showcasing food, sport and entertainment from the Americas. Friday's band lineup is: Lover Boy, Blue Oyster Cult and Tommy Tutone; Saturday it's Bret Michaels, Great White, Harlequin, The Romantics and Tommy Tutone. Gates open Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at noon, with entertainment running until 11 p.m. both nights. There will be nightly parties after the concerts at the David Thompson Astronomical Observatory from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. for 19 and older. Fort William Historical Park’s historic site will be fully operational for guests to enjoy throughout festival weekend. Weekend RV camping will be available. New for 2015, Fort William Historical Park has RV rentals. A two-night minimum stay and a weekend pass are required for camping during Fort Fest weekend. Event tickets are $20 Friday, $30 Saturday, and a weekend pass is $45. Children age 5 and under attend free. The After Party each night at 11 p.m. is $10 to attend (must be 19).
