Friday Movies at the Museum

The Carlton County Historical Society hosts the March Friday Movies at the Museum on March 28 at 1 p.m. at its museum at 406 Cloquet Ave. in Cloquet.

This month’s selection includes a tribute to the Norwegian heritage in Carlton County, since March 29 is the last day of the traveling exhibit "New Land, New Life! Norwegian Immigration in Minnesota: 1825-1925." We will start with a slide show of the Normanna and Viking Make Choirs and hear their music, then watch an interview with a Norwegian immigrant family.

Popcorn and hot cider will be served and a door prize drawing will be held during intermission. Regular museum admission is $2 for adults, $1 for children under 12, children under 5 and CCHS members admitted free. The CCHS museum is handicapped accessible.
