Frostbiter Fat Tire Bike Race

Grand Portage Lodge and Casino will host the inaugural Frostbiter Fat Tire Bike Race for Easter Seals kids on Saturday, February 21. Frostbiter riders will brave the cold and snow to raise funds for a great cause on beautifully groomed trails covering a 20-mile loop or a 40-mile loop.

The adventurous 40-mile race will start at 8 a.m., and the 20-mile race will start at 9 a.m. Both Frostbiter races begin and end at the Mineral Center within the Grand Portage Indian Reservation located five miles west of Grand Portage.

Race participants can register with a $50 entry fee that goes to Easter Seals Foundation or have the entry fee waived with a pledge of $100 or more. The races will be timed, and afterwards a noon lunch will be provided to all riders at the Grand Portage Lodge and Casino. The top pledge-getters for the event will be awarded a prize(s).
