Galls and Leaf Miner Exploration Field Trip

This new field trip offers an introductory look into the weird, wonderful world of flies, moths, and mites, and the often identifiable signs they create on plants all around you. Explore and learn to start noticing the easily-overlooked evidence of these creatures on leaves, stems, and branches. Hand lenses for magnification will be helpful on this field trip, so bring one if you have one. Extra hand lenses will be available for use during the field trip, as well.

Field Trip attendance is free for Friends of Sax-Zim Bog members (those who have donated $25 or more within the past year). If you are interested in membership, the $25 fee covers membership and free entry to all field trips and programs (excluding workshops) in a 12-month period!
