The Hep Tones from the Twin Cities will perform at The Play Ground in Duluth, Sunday, December 2, at 2 p.m. Tuba artist Ralph Hepola unites with innovative masters in music from the 18th to the 21st century. Partnering with Mark Asche, one of Minnesota's top keyboardists, and Gary Raynor, famous bassist from Long Island, New York, the Hep Tones specialize in contemporary tunes, jazz, ballads, bop and blues. Ralph is principal tuba with the Minnesota Opera at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul. This activity is funded in part by the Minnesota Legislature from the state's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Admissions is by donation at the door.
