Christmas Fantasy at Ely Arts & Heritage Center

Ely Greenstone Public Art will turn the Miners Dry House, 105 Miners Lake Landing Road, in Ely's Pioneer Mine site, into a "Christmas Fantasy." Visitors will find arts and crafts for sale, lights, Santa Claus, toy trains, animated figures and miniature villages Saturday, Nov. 30, starting at 10 a.m. Among the many items for sale will be Sharee Johnson Karklins' jewelry, purses and pouches; Heidi Pinkerton's Ely aurora photographs; Rebecca Stouffer's all natural herbal soaps and skin care, as well as heirloom seeds and watercolor cards and prints; Joni Bosch's goodies for pets; Doreen Rauch's quilted pins, candles and checkbook covers; Claire Taylor's original watercolors and pottery; there's Sandy Brandley's hand-thrown pottery; Anna Shallman's beaded art and prints; and Travis Melin brings his regional nature photography, while Ely Greenstone Public Art will offer the group's T-shirts. The Pioneer Mine site is the home of Ely Arts & Heritage Center, managed by Ely Greenstone Public Art. Stop by for a snack, coffee or cocoa during the event.
