Carlton County Historical Society 406 Cloquet Avenue, Cloquet, Minnesota 55720
The Carlton County Historical Society welcomes Howie Wilkes and Nathan Fraser from the AM Band to present a musical program at its museum in Cloquet on Friday, November 30, at 1 pm.
Wilkes' and Fraser's guitar program of Americana music is part of the museum's "Home on the Farm for the Holidays," which in turn is part of Cloquet's "Santa's Home for the Holidays" weekend. In addition to the farm theme musical event, visitors will be able to view the museum's farm theme holiday decorations and Christmas tree, located in the "Barns of Carlton County III" exhibit. Members of the museum's Barn Committee, organized four years ago by musician Howie Wilkes, decorated the Christmas tree with many handmade farm ornaments.
After the musical program, refreshments will be served. Regular admission is $3 for adults, $1 for children under 12, and free admission for children under 5 and Carlton County Historical Society members. The museum is handicapped accessible. For more information, contact the museum at 218-879-1938.
